Magnus Midtbø Visits Climb Fit

Pro Climber pretends to be a beginner....

A few weeks ago we were involved in a top secret project! Climbing legend Magnus Midtbø came to Sydney to film some “beginner climbing” videos. Adopting the persona of 'Erik', a Swedish hipster with no prior climbing experience, he undergoes a dramatic transformation. With dyed hair, spray tan, beard, glasses, tattoos, piercings, and hipster attire, he's unrecognisable.

The mission: to prank some unsuspecting staff and customers at climbing gyms around Sydney. This is the video he shot at Kirrawee.

Paul recognised him immediately- but then the lovely Manny became the next target.

He had no idea until “Erik” crushed the 10 on the lead roof.
